ADDITIONAL GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS PER STATE POLICY:
- ACT--Students who are enrolled in a Tennessee Public School any time during their senior year must take the ACT to graduate. The state provides a free ACT in spring of junior year and one in fall of senior year.
- Civics Test--Students must take this test in order to graduate.
- Civics/Government Project
Beginning in the 2024-25 school year, students who enroll in 9th grade must earn at least 1 credit for computer science in high school. Students may earn this requirement by substituting computer science for the student's fourth credit in math, third credit in science, or an elective focus credit.
*Some universities may not accept some approved math substitutions as a math credit. Check with your university prior to registering for a 4th math credit.
